Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Raqeem handles user data when you use the website or app. We aim to collect only the data needed to run and improve the service.

1. Data we may collect

We may collect account data such as email address and internal user ID when you sign in, and app data you enter such as transactions, categories, projects, settings, and reports.

Google sign-in shares the selected account email and account identifier with Raqeem and may supply a name and picture as basic identity data. We do not request access to Gmail messages, contacts or Drive files. This Google sign-in flow does not provide a random relay email to hide your email from Raqeem.

Sign in with Apple lets you choose Hide My Email, in which case we receive Apple's relay address. Linking Google later from account settings also shares your Google email with Raqeem. Your app data is associated with an internal Raqeem user ID. We do not publish your email in a public profile. Project invitations use the email addresses entered by the sender to grant sharing access.

2. Voice data

Raqeem uses the microphone to convert speech into an in-app command. We do not send raw voice recordings to analytics or advertising tools. The transaction text may be saved only when you approve it as part of your account data.

3. Financial data

Expense, income, and financial note data are used to operate the app. We do not sell this data and we do not send detailed amounts or financial notes to advertising platforms or marketing tracking tools.

4. Storage and sync

Your data may be stored locally on your device and synced to the cloud when you sign in so you can access it across devices. Data is transferred over a secure connection.

5. Analytics and tracking

We may use non-sensitive analytics to understand app performance, such as visits, screens used, and technical errors. Privacy and tracking choices can be managed from app settings.

6. Marketing

If advertising campaigns are enabled, we may use general non-sensitive data such as campaign source or completed registration. We do not use raw email addresses or expense details for advertising.

7. Service providers

Raqeem relies on service providers for hosting, sign-in, database, and analytics when enabled. Their use of data is limited to operating and improving the service.

Project notifications

If you enable project notifications and grant iOS notification permission, we store an installation identifier and an Apple push notification token linked to your Raqeem account in Supabase. Cloudflare sends notifications through Apple Push Notification service (APNs). A notification includes the editor’s display name, project name and project identifier so that tapping it can open the project. Transaction amounts and financial notes are not included in the notification. The notification text may appear on your lock screen according to your iOS settings.

Notification events and their delivery jobs are removed after seven days by the scheduled cleanup. Disabling project notifications or signing out unregisters this installation when the server can be reached; deleting the account removes its linked device registrations. You can also disable notifications in iOS settings. Notifications do not require marketing or tracking consent.

8. Deletion and retention

You can delete your account and data from app settings. After confirmation, we delete Raqeem data linked to your account from the cloud and device where possible, while limited data may be retained if legally required or needed for an active support request.
