What is project sharing in Raqeem?
Project sharing lets you add other people to your project in Raqeem, so expenses can be managed together instead of relying on one person to record everything.
Depending on their permissions, participants can view project expenses or add new expenses. This keeps the project record updated and available to the people who need it.
Why share project expenses?
In shared projects, the problem is not always the size of expenses. It is often the way they are recorded.
A partner may pay an amount and forget to record it. A receipt may be sent in a chat and get buried. Each person may keep a separate list, making month-end review harder than it should be.
Everyone records their own expense
Instead of one person collecting expenses from everyone and entering them manually, each participant can add their own expense directly to the project.
Bought supplies? Record it. Paid an ad invoice? Add it. Covered an operating cost? It can go into the project expenses right away.
Voice or text entry
Recording an expense should not be harder than the expense itself. Raqeem supports voice and text entry, making it easier to record expenses while working, traveling, or away from the office.
Viewer or editor: you choose the permission
Sharing a project does not mean giving everyone the same level of control. You may allow one person to view expenses only, while another person can add entries and help keep the project updated.
Example: a project between three partners
Suppose three people start a small project. The first partner pays 350 KWD for setup, the second pays 200 KWD for marketing, and the third pays 125 KWD for supplies and operations.
If each person keeps expenses separately, the team will later need to collect numbers, check receipts, and confirm that nothing was missed. In Raqeem, each partner adds their expense to the same project, and the recorded total becomes 675 KWD.
